This was a wonderful day to run and I hope you didn’t lose that in the race. If you can’t have fun and enjoy a day like today, then you’ve chosen the wrong sport. This was a great display of what cross country is and can be. Keep in mind that success is determined by growth and development. You are a success if you are eager to improve, work hard to make it happen and endure the tough times and challenges.
