This was a great day to race and you took advantage of it. I believe 6 of the 9 top guys had personal bests today. Everyone in that front group ran faster than a year ago on the same course. The gap was lessened from last week and I'm confident it will continue to drop just as individual times will. I have no doubt when we return in late October we will be even faster. The key number(s) is 16:25 - the average for the top 5 of the 4 teams going to states from our region. That number, that goal, is just one of the achievements to strive for though.

Let's keep being industrious and eager to work at being better. Our improvement is dependent on how bad you want IT. There is nothing to stop us from getting fitter and faster in the weeks to come. Focus on the next meet and improving again.
