Team Stats:

1-5 Gap:  43 seconds (Although the goal is 30 seconds, but this is pretty good)

1-7 Gap:  1 minute and 15 seconds (Too large in a race like this)

Some of you ran PR’s which is a good indication that you’re getting faster. This was a day of challenges – especially for the seniors. The cost of today’s training is high, but it should pay off later. Top 7 ran 6 miles before race and then raced at tempo. After that was 20 x 200 with 30 seconds rest; workout was followed by 2 mile warm down. Being tough is a state of mind as well as a state of the body. Practicing toughness is no easy chore. We cannot compromise training at such a crucial time of the season.
