Team Stats:

1-5 Gap:  29 seconds (This is good enough today)

1-7 Gap:  48 seconds (Like I said, good enough today)

I pulled a Riverside again. However, some guys really came through today.

Excellent knock by Grey Meyer and Casey Stocking. Kudos to Matt, Joey and Guy on racing after already running 35 minutes. Your efforts were significant. I really tip my hat to Alex and Romel for stepping forward and making a difference. You guys did 2.5 miles of warm – up, 3.5+ miles of cruise intervals, a 1.9 mile race and a one mile cool down. That is quite a day. The finishing performances were great, but what was more impressive was how you guys competed. The situation was less than ideal, yet guys stepped up when I asked like Sam Taylor who gave it a ‘go’ even though he had nothing left in the tank.

If we’re gonna be champions – we’re gonna run and race like champions from the first guy to the last guy.
