Team Stats:

1-5 Gap:  1 minute and 34 seconds (The gap should improve with practice)

The East Chapel Hill girls are obviously faster. I think it is a direct result of their superior fitness level which is a direct result of their training from the spring and summer. As a team they are collectively fitter, faster and stronger and this is not by chance. They simply outworked us over the training months. The work they put in during the ‘off season’ was evident. The work we did not put in was evident.

It’s a good wake up call, ladies, and we had to start somewhere. I hope the lessons of today are learned and we take that knowledge into our ‘off season’ training so we don’t get swept again.
