Coach Mulligan’s comments
|
Peters ‘12 | 103 | 17:47 | This is still a pretty darn good performance |
LaForge ‘11 | 105 | 17:49 | Running this quick is still an accomplishment |
Taylor ‘11 | 135 | 18:16 | This is a pure speed course and not your forte |
Rios ‘11 | 142 | 18:25 | Your tank was low to start |
Kreiling ‘14 | 146 | 18:32 | You’re still learning and doing great |
Catotti ‘11 | 148 | 18:34 | Dead legs and heavy lungs |
Wyngaarden ‘12 | 151 | 18:39 | Not a bad race under the circumstances |
| | | |
Connelly ‘13 | 72 | 19:14 | Run the first mile relaxed and then race – pretty good though |
Garcia ‘14 | 75 | 19:21 | Very good race, Romel. You’ll be under 19 soon |
Robinson ‘12 | 79 | 19:25* | Now you’re running hard and smart – good going |
Taylor, Sam ‘14 | 98 | 19:54* | Excellent. Vow to never run in the 20’s again |
McGinnis ‘13 | 100 | 19:55 | I don’t think flat courses are your strength right now |
Graffagnino ‘12 | 118 | 20:36 | You’re either the prey or the predator |
Stocking ‘12 | 163 | 23:45 | Figure out the problem in practice by training at race pace |
| | | |
Kaspar ‘13 | 44 | 19:26* | Awesome. Glad to see you had a really good race |
Meyer ‘14 | 104 | 20:59 | Way to get under 21 and sub 7 minute miles again |
Simpson M ‘14 | 116 | 21:06 | Very good. This is a really good time. |
Burns ‘14 | 137 | 21:30 | This is not too shabby. Run more relaxed early in the race |
Bacon ‘12 | 173 | 22:16 | You’ll figure it out soon |
Cox-McMahon14 | 188 | 22:44 | Hey, man, you keep getting faster – nice. |
Team Stats:
1-5 Gap: 45 seconds (Although
the goal is 30 seconds, this isn’t bad)
1-7 Gap: 52 seconds (This is a fantastic gap!)
I am to blame for the top 7 slow times. Tuesday was too long
and too hard a workout for you to recover in 4 days. If this were a
championship week we wouldn’t have trained so hard; our championship meets are
in October and until we get there, we’re going to train with a great deal of
intensity. Keep the prize in mind as we continue to work hard in the weeks to
come. We did have some PR’s so congratulations to those guys.

act of faith.”
