Not bad. Choose your sport. Doing both won’t work in season.

DNF

(21:08) You ran well for 1.5, but never looked relaxed.

Score:

 Jordan 281  29 52 54 59 77 89 119 9th
 Jordan JV 4 5 6 8 14 21 31 2nd

Team Stats:

1-5 Gap:  43 seconds (Although the goal is 30 seconds, but this is pretty good)

1-7 Gap:  1 minute and 15 seconds (Too large in a race like this)

It’s nice to see you guys running quick times. The conditions were pretty darn good to run fast today. I think some struggled with the early fast pace and that is okay. You should know that as the season goes on you will be able to sustain longer and maintain the pace for a longer period of time. It is difficult to hang on when you just go too darn fast though. Cutting back a mere 10 or 15 seconds in the first mile makes the 2nd and 3rd miles more manageable, so run relaxed early. There shouldn’t be more than a 30 second drop/mile; if there is, then your 1st mile is way too quick. As you get stronger, you will be able to hold pace better – believe it.
